I'm trying to recreate the Comet style of 2-speed clutch with the dual-sprocket clutch on the engine, and sprag gear-clutch on the jackshaft.
For starters, the sprag gear system looks like it could be recreated with parts from Electric Scooter Parts, with adapter FWM-ADAPTER8, freewheel FWM-205, 30-tooth sprocket SPR-3530F5, and the mount bolts HDW-200.
The engine clutch will be Max Torque #MT-SS12/1234W.
However, could the jackshaft clutch be a standard Max Torque clutch (say, this one) with a low stall spring? Or would a Comet clutch need to be sourced?
