212 ghost build

So I’ve been building my ghost 212 engine I’m gonna be running it just on gas. I was wondering what carb you guys would recommend.

70mm flat top piston
Billet rod
.308 cam
Billet fly wheel
Coil
Billet side cover
Performance big valve head
(Ducar 158 Cylinder Head
SI Valves 32mm Dished Stainless Steel valve
SI Valves 28mm Stainless Steel valve
SI Valves 32mm seat
SI Valves 27mm seat
DynoCams 32lb Dual Valve Spring Set
Billet Guide Plate
(2) Ducar Rocker Arm Assembly)

Makuni 24 mm flat slide for a minimum. With the big valve head, it might handle a 28 mm. Would probably be easier to tune the 24. What are you going to put it on?

Should i go with the 28? Do you know if i need after Market push rods?

With 32lb dual springs, you need the stronger push rods. I have a 212 built
a bit hotter than yours with the exception mine still has the 25 & 27 mm valves. I run the 24 Makuni and love it. Mine is on a big heavy two seat yard kart. I would think that with the bigger valves and it being on a light kart you could benefit from the 28.
