420c Predator Engine

I'm an old sckool MX racer and former Yamaha mechanic too.....
So it's fair to say you've seen a few then. I finally have a good carb guy and just in time, got a few projects coming up. There is a local guy I know who does carb synchronizing quite well, he's a block from me too and I am looking at a KZ900 that needs timing chains and carbs rebuilt and synched so I may get it if the price can be shaved down some. I have two Mikunis off random stuff and am trying one on a briggs fiver this week, it was too much for a 3.5hp briggs but flew once underway so I think it was a Robin Subaru OHV 4-6hp carb. I'll know once it's under a load as to whether I was right. I ain't crackin no carb open with my hands I can barely feel at this point but will try it on everything I got.

What size of a Mikuni on that 3.5 Briggs? Measure the carb inlet to the engine ID and you want it the same or slightly larger carb than intake valve....

Yah i was thinking about a Mikuni. I just put one on my pitbike. I am trying to figure out what size i need though because i know the 420cc is a big motor so i need a big carb for it
