linkage
hardware stores have stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers that are just a little bigger than carb linkage - they work nicely with "crimp on" type electrical connectors -- ream out the holes on the carb where the linkage goes through just big enough to fit the tiny screw - wouldn't recommend using a drill - twist the drill bit with your fingers, if it gets stuck use some pliers - put the screw through the hole - crimp an eyelet on to the end of the cable put it over the screw - add washer - put one nut on just enough so linkage moves smoothly (do not tighten or it wont work!!) - use a second nut to lock the first nut in place - no need for loc-tite - sometimes i use an in-line return spring if theres nowhere to mount a spring to on the engine ----- i added a couple pics - maybe they'll help
