Hello, Not alot of work at all. I have access to lathes, mills, CNC's, wire EDM machines etc. Really just looking to confirm the crank length's as requested so that I won't damage my NOS Lil Indian early clutch covers. Applications are for the 69 Lil Indian 6000 & 7000 with the minimatic 2 speeds. From what I can find thus far from the end of the crank to the bearing dia. its 2 &1/4 inch. Just not positive. Thanks

Well, some crankshafts have removable timing gears.
That means you would have to turn down the crankshaft sidecover journal all the way to the counterweight. It would also require that you make a new timing gear locator pin and drill a hole in the journal.

Do you have a removable timing gear?

Hello, Yes the timing gear is removable. Looking at it, I figure if I was to turn the crank bearing journal down, it would only be up to the timing gear face, to accept the small journal bearing.
THanks
