6.5 hp swap

are you using the mount plate from cjtmini?

if not, just pull the old motor, drill/slot new holes and install the new one. after it's in figure out how to set up the throttle (it's been discussed here a lot and not that hard). just make sure the clutch sprocket and rear sprocket are lined up before you drill anything.

you might have to make a new chain too depending on where the motor is mounted.

I sent you a PM

does your bike have 4 or 8 slots in the frame engine mount plate?

The plates I have are designed for bikes with 4 slots

I can include a installation CD if you buy an adapter plate

the adapter plates I have won't work on your frame......sorry

I want to get my hands on one of those frames to make plates that fit

I have instruction CD's for installing the 6.5's but the instructions are for the parts kits I sell.

the CD has photos and procedures on how to hook up the 6.5 engine. you can use it as a guideline for your project. If you would like a CD I can send you one

another member in AZ has the same frame you have. I sold him a parts kit minus the adapter plate for $80 shipped. he will drill holes and mount the engine without the adapter

Does anybody know what the extra set of holes are for?
Yes, to make it difficult to use Chris's mod :cursing:

I am the owner AZ that has 8 slots too. I am going to draw hole pattern in Autocad for Chris and send him a copy so he can have the template to make the 8 slot adaptor.
