6.5hp/196cc honda clone flywheel torque question

#7
Mine is a retired recoil starter cord with a suitable-sized stopper knot in each end. Gotta have one, easy and simple. I have one in each Stihl chain saw case. Good for... remove clutch and replace the bar oiling assembly when it fails.
Hope this helps, I don’t know about the luck part.
Nice car image!

I flipped my clutch around and grabbed the back side of it with a pipe wrench. Don't know if it is good for the clutch but worked for me. I lost the tool I welded for this. Going to buy a torque converter hub and drill it so I can bolt it to the block for this. The back piece that has the key in it. There about $20 if I remember right.

NO! Don't use a piston stop unless you want a hole in your piston! Use some nylon rope and stuff it in the cylinder
The stop that I use has a nylon bumper on the end to protect the piston:

I don't remember where I got it...probably some Karting catalog from way back for use on the KT-100. I've used it many times on small engines over the years without any issues.
