74 Harley X90--how to put wheels on properly?

#1
I see I made a mistake and put in my project log a question about how to properly put the wheels back on a 74 Harley X 90--my fault and I apologize.

Here is my dilemna---I thought I took great pictures and notes and honestly didn't think it would have been this long before I started putting this bike back together again but my painter was a little slow this time around--I know, no excuse but I do need help. On the front wheel on a 74 you have the round forks---on one side is the brake hub and the other is the dust hub where the speedometer meter goes---my question is this---is there a spacer that goes under this meter housing? Also, is there any other spacers or washers that go on this front wheel?

On the back wheel---there is the side with the brake housing and the other side contains the sprocket--same thing here, what goes on each side? I know there are tighteners that go on each side but is there spacers and if so, what mm thickness are they? I can't for the life of me figure this out for some reason. I have a book for a 73 but not 74 and the forks are different.

Anyone with any advice or better yet, close up pics of the front and back wheels on both sides would help me greatly.

thanks so much

Jeff

Look at my pics---or my project log---I have a lot of pictures on there. Thanks for the info on the spacers---the company where I had the zinc plating done must have misplaced it---getting another one from Jim's Harley in Ohio so I have it covered.
