Hi ct

Thank you for the tip about the cylinder

We had a Ford 292 with two sleeves in it Each one was put in a different way Pretty interesting

Just figured out there is no way to test run this engine

It is either put most of the kit on or nothing

Have a good evening

Bob,
you can remove the magneto side cover (left side when mounted in the bike) and there is a nut on the end of the crank, you can turn that with a drill to test fire it.

BTW, this is what a failed aluminum cylinder from one of these looks like:

Good morning

This same seller carries 15 or 20 of these same type kits

What the difference is I do not know

Search his items for sale Then search 'bike engine kit' Then sort low to high price

Have a nice day

Bob

Now kit will get here tomorrow

They can be hit or miss I have 3 or 4. I had one I bought new never could get it to run quite right. I went through the whole thing tried new carb and ignition stuff. Eventually found a bike out for garbage that they obviously never got going I put that engine on and now its good. You can get a pull start for them aswell but they are usually so hard to start its best to bump start them

Hi Jeep

Thank you for the good advice

Opened the box

1 It looks like it has been run Exhaust pipe is discolored & has gasket left on it

2 Have not run across chain for it Maybe it under engine in it's own little box

3 Can't tell how clean engine is through baggie in poor light Will look at tomorrow outside in daylight

4 Sprocket is unused

Have a good evening
