I used to use that stuff, but lately, Pine Sol seems to do a better job.

I've used it for years. Still on the shelves as far as I know. I don't like what it does to vintage carburetors. It does eat aluminum. I've taken to using Pinesol and water mixed. It does an outstanding job for a lot less money and a lot less metal loss.

Pine Sol will even lift old paint. That is what is in my ultrasonic cleaner. Best I've found!

Pinesol is a little more forgiving on the fumes and does the job as well. I haven't used it in some time. Purple power will remove will remove various coatings also.
Often I will use simple green HD with water in my ultrasonic, just depends on what parts are thrown in.

I can tell you that if you boil 5 gallons of water and one gallon of PineSol, your garage will smell like a Christmas tree for a long time.

You dont forget when the lid is off that stuff. Used those gallons for years to clean carbs, pretty good stuff in the day.
