I recently grabbed an Allis Chalmers (Gilson made) smaller bike for my youngest daughter. I am new to the minibike world as I am an avid Allis Chalmers garden tractor enthusiast. I have a few questions about how to resurrect this little guy.
The smaller bike appears to be missing the following:
1. 4hp engine with tank mounted to it. (looking for a Tecumseh)
2. Throttle linkage (not sure what I need to buy?)
3. foot peg covers (will need new. Size 7/8 or 1"?)
4. handle bar grips including throttle cable( will need new. Size 7/8 or 1"?)
5. Brake cable bracket that mounts to frame. (anyone have one I could purchase?)
6. Tubes for tires (source?)
7. Ignition switch (source?)
Any input or info or sources for parts etc will be greatly appreciated.
