Allsport Trisport

I was wondering if someone can give me an idea on how much it would cost to rebuild this Allsport.

I am trying to contact this guy who currently owns it. He has it listed to sell but no price. He said just make an fair offer but I have no idea what its worth... If anyone could give me a starting price they would offer for it. I have no idea if it has the engine or not. Waiting on a reply on that part.

Throttle ... brake levers... cables... bearings... it all adds up. Depending on if you totally redo it or just replace whats missing and broken and get the old engine running or not. I usually end up spending up to $500 putting them back together with new parts and a Harbor Freight 6.5hp clone motor... When its all said and done you own it for what its worth. No profit. And that one needs to be sanded and painted. It has to be cheap like James said. $50 range to be a fun project.... Make sure the rear differential is still good in it FIRST.... Randy

No idea he just email me back today. His email said engine and never what kind it was. Any idea what I should be looking for under it? I was thinking with a complete engine I should offer more like $175 or is that to little?

This is what I got in an email:

it is the bestand like I said it is for restore , I dont have any other pictures since it is covered up to keep the snow off of it . it has a motor , body, frame, ape bars, rear end. the body needs sanded and redone.

It has a lot to.do.with what engine is there and if the torque converter is complete, condition of it, etc. A complete and running McCulloch with converter should be 200 for me. But with a 5hp and or missing pieces and the price will go way down.

well since you can see it has no throttle and no brake levers or cables. Do yourself a favor and price those parts. You would think they would be cheap. But by the time you pay for the individual parts and shipping it is $100 just for that. And you havent got into the engine and clutch/torque converter or if the differential and bearings are any good. Or the motor.. Maybe price the parts out and send him a link with prices so he understands it will cost a lot to "restore" Randy

There was just one on ebay. It went to about 500 but they ended the auction early. It comes up now and then. I'll post it when it comes up again. Its looks in near perfect condition.
