Anyone have a mega moto 212?

I’m guessing maybe a Walmart exclusive. I didn’t each if it’s sold anywhere else yet.
Besides the suspension difference, no front brake either and no headlight.
I believe you're correct about the non-suspension model being a Walmart exclusive; that's the only place I've seen it. It was $699 when Wally began selling it, which was too high. At the current price of $499, it seems to be a good deal. However, I would suggest spending more money and getting the Pro Series 212. Use promo code Holiday15 (enter during checkout) to save 15%, making the Pro Series 212 $748. The additional $249 gets you a beefier frame, front suspension, a CVT, a front brake, and a headlight; money well spent, IMO. Promo code expires 12-14-18 (Snooze, ya lose!).

One problem that people have had with the PS 212 is the bolt securing the CVT driver not being tightened at the assembly plant, resulting in the driver coming apart during operation. If you buy a PS, remove the CVT cover and check the bolt before riding; check all bolts and nuts, for that matter.

A couple more deals: Amazon has the MM-B212-MXS (cheaper model with suspension fork) for $649.99 and the Pro Series 212 for $800.91. Get approved for an Amazon Visa and get $70 off, making the MXS $579.99 and the Pro Series $730.91. On Amazon, prices fluctuate often and the Pro Series price is the lowest it's been, so far.

If your big (read a heavy guy like me) the Coleman with front suspension, will dive if cornering hard. I just ordered a Monster Moto 212 Pro. The seat sits lower in the frame, and it won't dive, into the hard corners, like the Coleman EX.

And by the way it's only 7 hp not 7.5. I asked monster moto what brand and it's lifan.
But I searched Google for "Lifan 212cc 7.5 hp engine and it only came up with 212cc 7 hp.
So I am assuming that it's 7 hp.

I don't know. Sorry.
All I know is that a stock lifan 212 is 7 hp.
I will be able to compare the motors once it arrives! I have a Coleman CT200U with a gopowersports Torque Converter installed on it. It also has a 60 tooth sprocket on the rear, and with the TC installed, can still hit 35mph,with a "box stock" motor (6.5hp) according to the Coleman specs.

I wouldn't be overly concerned about horsepower ratings. I've been comparing lawn tractors and have noticed 20, 22 & 24 HP Kohler V-Twin engines are all the same displacement (725 cc). I once saw something somewhere claiming a non-hemi 212 Predator makes 7 HP and the hemi makes 8 HP (both stock); true, or not, I can't say; both are rated 6.5. Lifan's 196 cc engines (same displacement as the Coleman) are rated at 6.5 HP. There are factors other than displacement, such as compression ratio, bore/stroke ratio, valve size, lift and duration, intake and exhaust flow/restriction, etc. My guess is that Lifan slightly underrates their engines to avoid having disgruntled customers and their 212 makes up to 7.5 HP +/-. MM probably wanted to use the maximum realistic rating to make their 212 cc bikes seem more desirable. I doubt MM had Lifan produce a special MM-spec engine as that would have added cost. Again, just guessing.

True. But I contacted monster moto and they said if I heard it was 7.5hp I was misinformed. They said it is 7 hp.
Could be what your saying though.
MM's specs on the product pages (both 212 models) say 7.5 HP; the Walmart product page for that model says 7.5 HP.

I took delivery today of the new (2017 production run) Monster Moto Pro MM-B212-BR! After opening the crate I found the headlight had been destroyed during shipping. It still works, but the housing, and mesh screen are destroyed (well everything but the mounting bracket is broken). The freight driver took pictures and gave me a claim number to use. I contacted the seller, and they offered to credit my account 100.00. After riding it in the dark,I think I'll take the 100.00! The light really sucks, and I could hardly see! My friend also got one, in the coming weeks we will be doing a lot of test riding on them and report what we think. IMG_3121.JPG IMG_3121.JPG IMG_3122.JPG IMG_3124.JPG
