I actually got the idea from another member on here "yellowhand".... I've made them for almost all of my mini's. They work really well.

Do you have a pic insalled?

I can't upload pictures from my work laptop.. but if you want you can PM me your email address and I can email them to you from here. Currently they are only zipped to the frame, but I shipped one to another member on here from Texas and he came up with a nice clean looking way to mount them... I just need to email him and see how he did it.

I built one out of 3.5 inch aluminum tube bought the filler bung and cap off ebay made ends out of 1/6 plate aluminum worked great polished up nice and pretty easy to make but you need a tig to weld it.

Very cool how will that hold up to say e85?
alcohol isn't good for fiberglass.... I know they make coatings to seal the tanks for such use but I read alot of complaints on all these various sealers and wanting to peel off over a short time... my plans are for using race gas....

This is sorta like CC51's and oly4's tanks. 3" OD aluminum tube with purchased flanged 'plugs'. They make them for plugging 3" ID hoses...used on tanker trucks and such. The filler neck and cap were made on a lathe.

I have been looking at the N02 tank idea and seen something else that caught my eye. Why not find an old vintage fire extinguisher, they look similar to a N02 bottle and could probably be bought a lot cheaper.
Also looked at used Scott Air Pack tanks, again similar to a N02 bottle but a little bigger around and shorter...

Here is an oxygen tan that would work nicely and WAY CHEAPER!!!!!.....

Here is a scuba tank, 24" long x 7" diameter for $15, could cut it in half and make 2 tanks out of it. Or cut out the middle section and and make one with two round ends and one with two flat ends.....just some ideas i have been throwing around in my head.
