Anyone running the arc billet sidecover,i was wondering about the bearings, it came with two for the sidecover, seems to be a tight fit where they go into the sidecover,it comes with three bolts that hold the bearings in place on the sidecover,my question is the crank seems to be 1 inch and the bearing id is 998 ,two thousands smaller difference on the bearing id,it seems to me you don't want to press that onto the crank like the stock one did because if you did ,you wouldn't get it apart,it seems to me you would want the bearings to slide onto the crank so you could get it apart and shim it for end play also, whats the deal with this anyone know,i know the stock sidecover the bearing slides into the cover but this this one the bearing get held in place by these three bolts,so that would mean the crank just slides through the bearing,do i take some out of the crank or the inside of the bearing two thousands ,anyone know whats going on here. need some help? oh i forgot to mention it's a 5hp flathead dual bearing block.
