I picked up this old bike and want to get it running but I can’t even find the drain plug . I need help big time. Is there a manual for this thing I can buy somewhere??

Is this square nut the drain plug?? There’s one in the front and the rear.

It doesn’t seem to have gears ⚙️
don’t understand how it goes from idle or neutral to first. I guess I should worry about getting it running first

It uses a clutch that operates on centrifugal force. The clutch spins against spring tension and engages an outer drum which turns a small chain wheel.

Here is a video on how disassemble a Max Torque clutch for maintenance.

SCORE!!! IMHO that is and I'm not alone here.
Do a little research, get your hands dirty, make it run and ride it...and there's a great chance they'll multiply

Thank you very much for the video. It is exactly what I need. I think my clutch is stuck or something because when I pull the cord to start the bike the rear tire spins.
Today I changed the oil and put in some 10w-30 VR1 valvoline, changed the spark plug and took the carb off and cleaned it.
I was hoping it would fire up but looks like I have more work to do tomorrow..

Do you know with certainty that you have spark? If you do, try a little shot of starting fluid to see if it will fire.

Your clutch is rusted shut probably. I've rebuilt them before using that video as a reference. Jim of Max Torque is a member here. I like to buy his clutches instead of the Chinese knock offs. I'd recommend you take a look at what you have, and buying a new clutch might be a better option for you.

Hello @The beav ... welcome to the Oldminibikes.com forum !

Great advice above , from some of our master builders.

For now , remove the chain , so the stuck clutch doesn't impede your attemps to get the motor going.

Get your motor going , replace the clutch @Jim Donovan , and a new chain , and you'll be set for some fun !

By the way , that's a great find. It appears to be complete , and original.

In other words , don't go spray painting it ... lol.

Front and back picture of the clutch would help. Number of teeth on the clutch and if it is 3/4" bore or 5/8". If penny goes in the bore of the clutch it is 3/4".
