Did you guys catch how much that broken down Sachs recoil just went for on ePay? $396.99!!!. That's crazy! From the looks of it, it's going to need another $50-$75 to get it working...new pads and plastic guide. Wow! Congratulations to the lucky bidder...I guess. This hobby is getting to darn expensive.

I'm going to have to take mine off at night and lock them up in a safe.

i came home 5 minutes before the auction was over thinking I will throw a bid in. I did not have to think twice after seeing the price. Looks like I will try to rebuild mine. That is more than I paid for my bike.

Rebuilding is pretty easy if you have the parts. Pads and springs can be made. What kept me from bidding, aside from the ridiculous price, was the plastic guide that was destroyed. That's going to be hard to find and tough to make.
