Arctic Cat Ramrod exhaust

#1
I didnt get any replies over in the general section, so I think I might have posted this in the wrong section, so I am going to post it here.

I am having a bunch of trouble with my Ramrod. The exhaust just wont fit. It hits the down tube part of the frame, and I cant get it seated on the engine. I tried putting the exhaust on the engine first, then bolting the engine down, but with the exhaust hitting the frame, the engine bolts wont line up.

I finally bolted the exhaust down just a little bit so it was loose, then got the engine bolted down, and tightened a little bit at a time, exhaust, engine bolts, exhaust, engine.. till they were tight.. But the exhaust isnt seating flush onto the gasket.

Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with these Ramrods? Maybe my exhaust is bent? Maybe my motor mounts are out of line? The frame is un modified. The exhaust is a stock exhaust. I just dont get it. There isnt a manifold that bolts to the engine, that the exhaust bolts onto right? I have never seen one if there is..

Any help would be appreciated. Maybe someone else has bolted on a ramrod exhaust and knows if it just bolts right on with the engine in place, and mine is just not right..

Ok. Turns out my motor mount plate is bent about an eigth inch into the right.. so the exhaust wont fit..

I have another frame and extra engines and exhausts, and they all bolt up easily. So its the frame.

Thanks for your quick replies!!

I do appreciate it very much.
