Hello everyone, long time lurker/reader first time poster. I bought this Bearkat yesterday. Pretty complete minus seat engine and the torque converter driven shaft. Does any have anymore info on these? Maybe a picture of the missing shaft? Thanks Leadfoot

Welcome. .. Here is my Bearkat photo I can try to get better pic of the jackshaft later today.... They take a 6 to 7 HP Briggs and stratton for correct engine. ..

Hopefully my jackshaft pic helps you but my bearkat seems to be a slightly different model my rear seat area is flat I don't have the upwards sweep??
Mine is original was the last owners Grandpa's. ...a tecumseh 5-6 HP wouldn't line up at all on engine plate as advertised in above article. Briggs 6hp fit perfect. .
What bearkat model is mine? Fastback?Ha Ha.....

On your jack shaft it looks like it has stamped steel pillow block bearings? Do they have a little strip of rubber around the bearing?

Yes.. Stamped steel and rubber. .
Tote gotes are cast iron with bearing pressed in.. More heavy duty than these...

One good thing for you is that your rubber mounts on engine plate look good... Mine are missing so we need to find a close mount idea...
