Bent Duster fork (not anymore).

#4
I wonder if the forks have ben cut.

I am puzzled by the way the end of the fork legs have been cut and welded.
It sort of makes me think they have been cut to shorten the forks for whatever reason.

Does anyone out there have a un molested Duster fork and measure the length of the forks.
I will appreciated.

Also the handle bars are not up to my taste, but they will have to do for now till I figure something in line with my taste.

I noticed that too. It would be in your best interest (for safety) to get some replacement tube stock (5/8 i think), cut it to match the length of whats left of the original axle tubes/mounts and replace the damaged pieces at the end of your forks.

Yea the fork ends where hard on the eyes ><.

Took care of them, turns out they where about 1" short.
So cut and paste.

I had to use the torch since I don't have a floor anchored work bench or a press yet. I tried jumping 210 # of me on them and they would not budge, they are pretty stout.
It's coming along, waiting on the rear tire and a torque converter, this is going to be fun to install.

Ps Thanks TheJoker for the measurement.
