Everything else got the same treatment, this engine had a bit of metal in it previously due to rod dipper contacting the governor rod under throttle. That plus porting and epoxy, there was debris all over the block. I’m excited to get this built, being clean and taking my time on this one.
The casting flash on this block was terrible, like razors I cut my fingers holding the thing. So I filed off all of the sharp edges on the cooling fins but there was junk all over prob the worst i have seen.
This was a later SBH and the engine seems to be fine otherwise
