I am starting a build of a Bonanza BC1200. Originally I was going to do a BC1300 but since I will be using the go-power wheels, I will be building a BC1200. This will be the project page. This is what I am starting with:

I got a hold of a brand new old stock Briggs 2.5hp. I believe it was built in 1976 because of the engine code. It has never been used. It has a 3/4 long shaft. The good thing is that I will be able to play with the sprockets on the jackshaft to get a good ratio for it. I plan on mostly using it onroad with no hills.

briggs would be a nice little engine maybe for a cat or something. you may have to gear the bike down little so it will take off good for you? that will depend on how much you weigh? you did say your going to run it on flat ground. that should help make it easyer to ride:thumbsup:

need to find a 3.5 or 4hp tecumseh with a front mount steel gas tank..........
now where did i see some of them in my garage.....:shrug:sorry not for sale,,,,:doah:

The same Go Power wheels were used on both the BC1200 and BC1300. The difference between the two would be engine size and tire size.

A quick update on the BC1300 Project. I got the brand new 530x450x6 tires from stingrayraleigh. I also got a push button kill switch on eBay. I am not sure if I will be using the push button kill switch.
