Your original Bonham Climbaway clutch is a 1" bore. Preditor motors are 3/4" shaft. Half the value of your Tote Gote is the climbaway clutch. Would you buy a Preditor motor, and a clutch to fit it, to reduce the gotes value?
I kept the original engine on it. Initially, the condition of it didn't appear to be very good, so it had crossed my mind to swap it out, but after tinkering on it a bit &cleaning it up, it didn't look bad (luckily).
When working on the carb, try to keep the hard parts unless they are damaged. It's OK to replace the gaskets, use the original emulsion tube (nozzle). The nozzle in many rebuild kits will make your motor run too lean.
