Breaking up at high Rpm

#1
What will cause my 212 to break up at high rpm? Got a stage 4 mod with a 22lb spring. It goes from 6200 breaks up then to about 6500 then from 6500 to 6800 then to 7080 it keeps breaking up and then climbing

yes , more details on engine...cam,head...milled ported? and the carb size and the jetting in it. if the springs are correct? then run it real hard until it starts to break up. at that point kill the motor. yes at 6200 and up. just make sure your heading the right direction(shop) then pull the plug out and see what it looks like. DON'T LET IT IDLE. KILL IT AT THE BREAK UP POINT 6200up... thumb1.PNG

Not sure of all the detail I bought it from a guy last week. All I know is ported and polished heads Hemi 212 billet flywheel aftermarket cam 22 lb springs. Everyone has been saying fuel may be the issue. I gotta check the Mikuni when I get home to know the jetting
