Briggs 5hp lighted coil flywheel

#4
I have one.. It has some damage, pretty sure it's all contained to the really small aluminum fins rite around the magnet.. all of the damage can't weigh more than 1/2 once or something.. I'm sure it would be fine to (run) Might wanna balance it if you plan on going 7 grand with it.. But I'm sure it's probably fine for a motor motor..

Let me check. I have an electric start engine. Not sure if it has the magnets on the inside.
If it is a 110 starter it most likely does not have the magnet ring.. If it does it is pretty plain to see.. most briggs flywheels are all uneven and bumpy looking on the backside.. a lighted wheel is perfectly smooth, round and has the dull grey-brown colored refrigerator magnet looking magnet..
