Part number 294259 correct recoil orientation for most 3hp engines that went on mini bikes till 1969 when Briggs stopped supplying most bike manufacturers.
No extra holes like the later ones had on the top (verticals had big hole on front face) fully loaded, so they are bolt on and go.
I thought didn’t have enough of these for some 3hps I am building….turns out I have a surplus, I can spare like 3 of them. No numbers which is better in my opinion then the wrong numbers if your trying to replicate a bike from 1969 or older!
