briggs valve float

i have just finished hotroding and it runs great!!! but i have lots of valve float and i was wondering if 5hp briggs springs will work in a 4hp briggs any info is helpfull =) thanks

that's kind of a open question. I can kind of see why no one would reply back on this. first is that 4hp a big block or a small block. that question might be more relevant to you problem . more just curious. what you need to find out is your spring height when installed on your 4hp block. if your height numbers come out right you may have some options. for example you might be able to fab a pair of dyno retainers/keepers and animal springs.
also when you say I just finished hotroding my engine? what do do you mean by that? did you install a race cam? billet rod?....etc.... what really have you done to it. maybe some pictures may help.
