BT200X Help

#1
Brought home a BT200X tonight and within 10 minutes my son put it into a cattle fence and it landed somewhat on the right side sort of upside down. Long story short, he’s fine but I can’t get the thing to run for more than a second with starter fluid. At first it wouldn’t even pull when trying to start it. I removed the air filter, it was wet with oil, and the spark plug and there was oil spewing out of the spark plug hole when I pulled the starter. I pulled the starter until no more oil came out, cleaned the plug and left the filter off. I tried starting it for probably 30 minutes and can only get it to run a second or so with starter fluid? Any suggestions?

Thanks for the welcome and ideas! I tore into it this morning, pulled the bowl off the carburetor (it was full of oil), cleaned the carburetor, put in a new spark plug, and changed the oil. After I put everything back together it started up on the first pull! Looking forward to seeing my boys wrench on this thing and tear around on it!

I was going to mention that these things can get a carb full of oil when the engine gets turned over or laid on its side, but it looks like you discovered this quickly. Nice job!
