I used to made reproduction Ben Hunt Caper Cycle fenders. Aluminum as original. Was digging through some stuff in storage and found a pair that was pressedout a long time ago and I have no use for them. Does anyone have a Caper and needs fenders?
The early fenders had the corners clipped at 45 degrees, the later machines had rounded ends which is what I made. Bennie made original fenders in two different thicknesses of aluminum....I used the thicker. You'll have to PM your address if you want me to ship them to you. If I don't give them to you no one will ever know what they are and will end up in the scrap pile. I would like to recover the shipping cost.
I can still reproduce fenders for the Caper Cycles. Have the dies and the rolling fixture on hand. I did purchase a couple of the "Cart engine" style Caper Cycles. Both tore down to bare frames and boxes of parts. Been a while since I've been on this site. I'll check back again soon to see if you have replied.
