i have installed a billet rod and a 94ss dyno cam does anyone know what I kind of carb mods I need to do. It starts and runs for about 10 seconds and dies out hell of a time to get it goin again I think that I need to re-jet the jets in the carb but not sure how much bigger to go or if im even on the right path can someone point me in the right direction
he means what model engine and which of the stock carbs dose it have?. I would assume by the 94ss cam and stock carb that you mean a briggs flathead 5 horse with the carb mounted to the top of the tank. but that still leaves the question of is it the newer fixed jet carb or the older adjustable carb?. and there are 2 other stock carbs that this engine can come with: an updraft carb that is fully adjustable and looks like a mini version of the briggs 8hp flathead carb. and there is a fixed jet carb that looks similar to a Tecumseh carb that mounts with a short plastic intake curved away from the exhaust. did I guess correctly?
