Carburetor numbers?

Anyone ever seen this carburetor? Richard gave me a link to a kit which I bought and installed (Thanks!). But I'd like to know what type this is, or where I could buy a whole new unit if I needed one. Which I might. Any help is appreciated!

It is a Flo-Jet carburetor. This website gives the best information on these and other Briggs carbs, IMO.

You can find both original new, and Re-pop new on Ebay, if you search "Flo Jet" carburetor

I figured it was a flo jet. That confirms that suspicion. But would those carburetors fit on the 3.5 that I have? What I mean by that, is do they all have different intake angles?

It seems every time briggs made a parts list for a motor, they used a different number for this carb. I have it listed as a 3hp carb #395395, or a 5hp carb # 393753. I believe the only difference is the emulsion tube.

So thanks for the numbers, but $122 for a 3hp carb is a little much. Is there a cheaper option at all?

yes, refer to the site I linked to your post, and rebuild with the kit Richard told you about.
