Little before and after of the fenders. All I did was soak them in evaparust for about 5 days. Once a day lightly used fine steel wool to knock off the thick areas of rust . Can't believe the difference. I plan on having these rechromed when I have other parts chromed for the bike.
Where did you get the handlebars chromed ? They look great.

Finished up the roller last night besides the foot peg covers. I bought a set of 7/8“ I.d. hunt wilde not knowing they are actually 3/4”. I have a new set on the way already. Besides that the roller looks great. Will get some pictures in the sun soon.

Also got the motor on the stand and started up this morning. It started up 3rd or 4th pull after adding fluids for the first time and sounds like it will be very healthy. Not much left to do, getting down to the nitty gritty as my Grandpa always used to say. 20190511_004511.jpg 20190511_005431.jpg 20190511_133702.jpg

Bike got its first sun yesterday. The motor is a tight fit in this little frame but looks great on the bike (Yes I know a flathead would look better). After I took these pics my friend Jeremy helped me get the throttle hooked up using the Gray Goat throttle linkage bracket and I took its first voyage. Did great on its first 20190512_141812.jpg journey around the block. After foot peg covers get here I will take some final pictures and get my riding video filmed.
