Cat muskin chain guide

#1
I was playing around with CAD and my 3D printer and came up with a reinforced chain guide. I’ll also be making a slimmed-down version that matches the OEM one. These will be printed in black carbon-fiber nylon.

If anyone is interested, they’ll be $30 each shipped to your door.

From what I’ve seen, these used to be listed on OldMiniBikes before they got taken down, and I haven’t seen them for sale anywhere else, so I decided to make my own. Figured there might be a few other people who want them too.

Unlike the hollow OEM part, these will be 100% solid for maximum strength.

Next up I’m working on a clutch/chain guard if I can find one locally to measure (or maybe 3D-scan one) to get the dimensions perfect.

Let me know if you want one or a few! Might be the last chance to get them don’t know how long I’ll be making these all depends on interest/demand

Would definitely be better on your sale side to make them in black.

“100% they’ll be in black. They’ll be made from carbon fiber nylon. I was just doing test prints — that’s all. I did a second one that’s not reinforced, so it’s with the stock measurements

Great job! While not exact, they will fill the void, and the price is more than reasonable. I don't need any ATM but I'm sure there are others that do. Not many people making old school minibike parts anymore. Bravo!
When printed in carbon fiber nylon, you won’t see any layer lines at all — it’s a lot smoother. That’s definitely a plus.

I printed the test ones at what I think was 35% infill, and I can smack them with a hammer and they don’t break. The ones I sell will be 100% infill, so they’ll be almost nuke-proof, lol (not exactly, but they’ll last basically forever).

If I start getting some orders, I might tweak the design a little more to make them perfect, but for now it’s on the back burner unless someone wants them in bulk at lower price the future. Then I might pick the design back up in CAD . But I agree they will look good enough to pass and function properly for now. Thanks for your comment.

Looks like I spoke too soon, turns out I do need one. Please put me on the list also .
I’ll get yours printed also in the next day or two did you want the oem look or the thicker reinforced one they will be made from carbon fibber nylon so I don’t see wear being a problem any time soon on ether

Last chance to get these guys. I'm going to print out 50 of them with my new 3D carbon printer that prints amazing quality. I'll sell them for $15 each, or $10 each if you buy 10 or more. After that, I won't offer these for sale anymore.
My new printer is 50x better than my last one, so these will look super close to OEM. I'll post pics once I start rolling these out. If I list them on eBay, the price will be $25 each due to the fees—eBay likes to rob us.
Shipping will be up to you. If you order just one, I can put it in a regular envelope and you just pay for the stamps, or I can send it in a bubble wrap envelope (I think that's like $8 with tracking).
Here's a pic of some smaller items I printed. As you can tell, the quality is way cleaner. They will be printed in black PA6-carbon fiber.
