Great ideas for both removing the tire and painting the rims. I worked for two days trying to get a original tire off a cat rim without damaging the tire. Ended up using a sawzal and buying a new tire. Then two rolls of masking tape for me to get that black/silver paint job.

UPDATE...So I have not done anything to this bike in the last month other than sandblasted the frame and forks, and cleaned up the engine a little.....

So the original seat brackets had a bunch of extra holes drilled in them so I made a new set to go with the great seat I got from Karen. I'm hoping to get the frame and forks painted this weekend...

OK, put some regal metalic gold paint on the frame and forks today. Still waiting on the chrome shop with my parts so I can put this thing together.....
