Centrifugal Clutch spacer

#1
While installing a cent. clutch, I had trouble finding a 1/4" spacer for the back of the clutch at the motor. I decided to use three flat washers, stacked, to accommodate the 1/4" space. Does anyone foresee a problem with using washers as a spacer. Any ideas are welcome.

I've done this many times. Never had an issue.

I've also bought some 3/4" ID machined tube and cut it to the length of spacer I needed.
