I used VHT 2000 degree header ( ceramic ) paint to coat the F&B 3 stage header , followed direction and baked it in the oven , the last stage I could only get 550 degrees as the oven does not go to 600 :laugh: And I did it when my wife was gone , she got home from shopping and says whats that smell :doah::laugh:

Great looking Powell Chipper and a nice runner too! I was thinking of using something similar to your chain drive system just for ease of maintenance?

Have you installed a speedometer app on your phone and gone out for a top speed run yet? It sounds like it can turn some good rpm and get some good speed :) If so, what did it do?

I have not done that , the gearing is at 8.5 to 1 for the 1/8 mile go kart track , but she is still pretty fast !
