Clear float bowl?

Hey guys. Do these things last? Anybody use em? I'm thinking it might be convenient. Maybe even be able to view jet numbers? One less thing to write down...

It's hard to say really. If they don't get cloudy and brittle then I would say for the price, its worth a try.

I know in the motocross/enduro world there is an aftermarket carburetor by the name Lectron that uses a clear float bowl.

I would be great for checking float height, just like on a Holley 4bbl carb.

Lectron carbs have come with/been available with sorta-clear float bowls for a few decades and they last a long time. I write jet sizes on the side of the bowl.

Remember that China doesn't care how long those things will last as long as they sell more than they warranty.

As a tuning/ troubleshooting tool...install it and you can see your fuel level as you experience problems. Then install metal bowl. I like that idea.

You can also use a piece of clear hose on the bowl drain as a sight tube. Secure the open end somewhere well above the carb and open the bowl drain screw to see the fuel level.
