Clutch Band Brake Mount Predator 212cc

#24
yeah ik its open, but i thought it might give him an idea?
got another question...

this whole setup,on the clutch itself...
wont that Create a lot of heat?
thats not gonna affect the clutch,or even the motor?
motor runnin 3600 rpm suddenly Stopped/Slowed at Speed by clutch brake..?
thats no stress on the Rod?

and..this all depends on the Chain, doesnt it?
seems like that would cause a Lot of stress on the chain too..?
what happens if your chain Breaks??..then no brakes = crash?

sorry for all the questions,i just want to learn.

I think somewhere I has said $35 free shipping usa

and you have the choice of different color powdercoat whatever I have in stock if you dont want black

will come with all mounting hardware but for the band brake and cables just the bolts to mount to engine, and the nuts to hold on the band brake onto the bracket

well looks like I cant edit the first post
so I will post here

I got a handful made and ready to ship $35 free shipping USA

They come with the hardware to mount too

Brake, and brake parts not included

Someone said that bolt pattern is the same for other engines, if thats the case then this could work on other engines
But I know it will work on the predator as I made it for mine

Ive found you can slightly tap the main bolt whichever direction you want with a hammer and screwdriver to make/guide the band sit how you like
so its easy to fine tune how it sits over the clutch, so keep that in mind once installed

I made it so when I apply the brake the band clamps down squarely to the clutch

will it work on a briggs 5hp flathead ?

I was told the bolt pattern used is the same on all of these engines
but I have not verified this yet
if it is the same, I dont see why it wouldnt work

I do have some ancient king o lawns mower here but never got around to see if it uses the same bolt pattern as it looks like the same type engine
maybe you can send me measurements of your bolt holes and I can compare to mine
