coleman b200rsv headlight capacitor upgrade?

i saw a post where someone added a capacitor to the headlight on a coleman b200r i think it was with an led bulb. i have the b200rsv with the voltsge regulator rectifier already on the bike. i planned on adding a double charging coil setup, but it already has it! i want to get the led headlight to work better at idle, as it does almost nothing currently. i might even just swap it out for a better headlight, as the one thats currently on it is meh on the road. i was wondering where on the stock harness would i need to add a capacitor to get the headlight to stay on better? would it just be on the two wire coming from the lighting coils, or after between the regulator/rectifier and the led headlight?

Capicator goes across the dc. Reverse polarity and it can explode. I always add a capicator on my left setups. While the light will still flicker at a slow idle it it does. Improve it quite a bit.

exactly what i wanted to hear. i ordered a 10000uf 25v capacitor for my coleman b200 rsv because the headlight is SO dim at idle. i still may add a a battery at some point, but its not high on the list of things to do to it. dc side, so after the regulator, got it. should be pretty straight forward then. thank you for the quick help.

Those are huge but yes they are correct. Electrolytic. You could mount it in the headlight shell if it fits.
there is TONS of room in the stock headlight housing for one of these. i was actually looking at getting a different headlight assembly all together for this thing to throw out more light, because as it it, the stock headlight kind of sucks even at its brightest. im hoping these decently sized caps will provide enough power if i decide to swap the actual headlight at some point (probably soon) lol.

Why not add a small battery to run the light and charge it from your charging coil? You would need to add a switch to turn the light off when not riding it.That would be bright at idle.
