Coleman Ct200u throttle acting weird

So my Coleman CT200u is acting really strange. I went to fire it up and when the choke is on, the throttle does not work, but when I turn the choke off, it goes full speed ahead, and the throttle does not work to regulate the speed. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Check the return spring, then the butterfly on the the carb. Is the cable stuck?

I managed to fix it I had to move one of the springs to shut the throttle because I recently took the governor out and it caused the throttle to be open, so I adjusted a spring and it works now

That's great! I'm glad it was something simple.

Years ago, I messed with the governor on a go kart engine and then nearly killed myself trying to stop it from tearing across the yard into the neighbor's house. Fortunately, the chain came off and I was able to stop it, but it could have been much worse.
