there are a few parts that are nearly impossible to find
1) Fork boots - I bought a basket case bike to get the originals which are one my bike. I’ve also taken the Harley brake cylinder boots which are very close, but too short and bonded two together to make one. They turned-out nice.
2) clutch/chain guard - the same basket case had an original chain guard. I spent many hours restoring a so-so part. A nice one sold on eBay a while back for $600.
3) Rear shocks. I’ve never seen a pair not cut-up by the chain and other damage. I made exact copies. Took a long time, but turned out very nice.
