DMP Mini Bike

#1
Hi Guys! New to the forum from Ontario Canada. I bought this 70's DMP Mini bike for 100$ and it could use a little love and a few parts. Does anyone know of a front caliper that willl work? My original is missing. I'm planning on going two stroke, with a tecumseh HSK845. The front shocks are also quite worn, anyone have any experience getting them apart? photo (17).JPG

Shocks are easy.
Remove thecwheel, after taking pictures,or documenting how it was put together.
The just turn the lowers and should be able to get them out of the little lip on the top of the lowers and bottom of the upper forks.
Easy...

Welcome to the fun!

Welcome to the fun, DMPs are pretty rare being a Canadian bike. My brother (bigrob) on this forum has rebuilt three a, scamper and a couple of the trail champs like yours. Hopefully he will chime in with some advice. Pretty sure there are build threads on them. All the best Jay.

Congrats dmp's are well made bikes and are fun stock or modified. Check out BigRob's builds. Saw his bikes at Windber and he builds quality. Have fun with the bike.
