I suggest getting the Ducar 212 instead if the Predator, stronger block, PVL flywheel, 1,700 more rpm in stock form, not much more money.

No video but check out this thread. Probably many more in the Coleman / Baja subforum.

Basically, you just need to mount a clutch with the sprocket inboard on the 212 (to better center the larger engine), align the sprockets, drill the engine plate, bolt the engine down, connect throttle.

That's using an engine swap plate which is how I prefer to do it. SOme like to drill the existing plate. I re-use all of the stock controls and killswitch set up as well. This one used a TAV but a straight clutch/chain is actually easier.

That’s the one I got I have a different model of the doodle bug I want to engine swap it with a predator 212
The bar that is behind the engine for the fender mount will need to be bent slightly to the rear to clear the 212 , with rear wheel removed stand the frame up ( ass end on ground ) set a 2x4 across that bar and a couple whacks with a sledge hammer and that will do the trick then you can remount the fender !

I like the stock sprocket because I don’t have to spend any more money, and I’m not too concerned about mph. That said, there’s more down low than you need. I’d like to try a 60T…
