I'm working on my second minibike build. Thought I had the engine already to go. Temp Up a gas tank put on some to safety glasses a pair of gloves and set up a fire extinguisher, Just in case. Pulling the cord I noticed it was a little springy not easy ..... But then it started !!!!!! An overwhelming feeling of joy came over me . Then it stalled .trying to restart it the pull cord pretty much wants to rip my hand off . Obviously something isn't right . This is what I've done to the engine : it is a hemi Predator 212cc 6hp . Remove the governor and all associated parts. Install a new connecting rod , flywheel (ARC). 26 LB springs. Mikuni carburetor 22mm . The cam is stock . If anyone can shed some light on my problem It would be much appreciated . Thanks

It sounds like your valves need to be adjusted properly.
