Stripped the bike down.
Cleaned all the parts with mineral spirits.
Sanded all paintable parts with 600 grit sand paper
Removed all the rust down to bare metal.
Cleaned all the parts again with mineral spirits.
Primered the parts with rustoleum 2x primer.( I had to use 2 cans of the primer to coat everything with 2 coats / with some left to spare for touchups )
Letting cure for 24 hours.

Its been 48 hours since the primer cured. Today I gave the parts 2 coats of basecoat with rustoleum 2x bright orange gloss. Then 2 layers of rustoleum glitter.
So a couple of pointers.
I was a little impatient and made a few errors that I want to share.
First of all I should have waited about at least an hour between the basecoat and glitter. The problem was that where the basecoat was still wet and the glitter hit it , it got a little bit of crackling....Also I should have wet sanded the primer with 1500 grit before painting because after I sprayed I could see all the imperfections.
With that being said. Over all I'm still pretty satisfied at this stage.
I will let the basecoat and glitter to air out and cure for at least 48 hours before I put on the clear coats.

I like that glitter paint. We used the teal one on parts of my wife's MM80.

Definitely give it plenty of drying time before doing the clear. That stuff likes to crack, like you already experienced.

If you can find it, the purple color shift one they have is pretty cool too. So far I've only used it on the velocity stack for one of my bikes. I kind of want to do a whole frame with it.

Those look awesome.....
How much drying time before clear did you give it?

I gave most of the parts a couple of days. I got excited with the blower housing and it developed some cracks in the paint. It's also the piece I cared about the least. If it came out too bad I could easily take it to work, bead blast it and start over.

Added 3 coats of clear coat today.
Man is it sparkling....
Will wait a few days, wet sand with 1000 grit, then 2 or 3 more coats of clear...
Then wetsand and buff.

Those look great, be careful around the corners and rounded edges it's easy to get through the clear. Don't know if it will effect your paint job or not but I did blue glitter paint on my Roper and it got a little lighter and silvery looking in a couple small areas. That bike will be a real looker when your finished.
