Dune cycle with foot pedals?

When you take out the 4 bolts it should pull apart. Careful to make sure you see how the gears come out. Then there is a C clip that holds the axle in on the end. Take those off and the gears slide off and the axles slide through the housing .

That's very helpful. Thank you. I knew the axle parts just pulled apart. Everything is just kinda rusted together. Getting the backend apart seems to be my challenge, once that's done then it seems like it would be smooth sailing after that. HOPEFULLY. lol..

Seems to be a link at the bottom of your post which I can't access. Ah well.

This was the worst part to get apart to change bearings. The other side surprising had newer bearings and completely fine so I didn't mess with taking that apart.

Frame is all cleaned up with the help of my super excited son.
Just waiting on a couple of parts on back order from peerless. All other needed parts I have and things should move quickly as weather permits. I don't have a garage or shop so all work is done outdoors.

Its getting close to the end. A couple more tweaks and its a wrap.. Seat cover has seen some better days but overall I'm happy how things turned out. What I wasn't expecting was the level of restoration this thing needed!

Complete basket case of a Dunecycle lives to ride another life span..

20200808_190751.jpg 20200808_190720.jpg Finally figured out the throttle. Had to flip it upside down from the way it came out of the box. Ditched the stock spring and replaced it with one I had from a briggs throttle kit I wasn't using. Works perfect!

This engine is a beast! Seriously..

I forgot to mention that this was the 1st run of seat covers made for the Duncycle seats that had the cut in the front for the fuel tanks. the cover fits like a glove!
