Dyno Cam 245 For Tecumseh

#1
Anyone here running a Dyno Cam in their Tecumseh HS40 or HS50 engine? I bought a Dyno brand 245 last year I was not 100% sure if it was correct for an HS40 or HS50 or what setup engine it was for, I believe it's a somewhat mild cam with about .050" more lift and possibly more duration.

Thanks

Tony

I am running a dyno cam 255 in my ohh motor and called dyno cams tec guy and told me to run a 20 pound spring.
I believe the a 245 would take a 18 pound spring.
Are running it in a points engine or newer external coil engine.

I used the 245 and it is mild but a improvement over stock. Problem with them is no compression release which requires a particular starting procedure or it will pull the cord out of your hand.

What in blazing tarnation is going on here folx?
Is there some sort of interchangibility between the HS and OHH Tec engines,
goin on with these 245 and 255 Dyno cams?
I demand an immediate clarification to this calamity!
