just got back from the races .this is the big one.largest in the world.
banked track. very cool stuff.not to many pics at the race.friggen 50 mph wind turned your bare hands blue instantly.

Is that an oval track in the night pix? If so.. how big is the oval (1/4 mi?). Asside from the snow.. reminds me of the old dirt tracks we have down around here..

Great pics!
Was 55 on this side of the lake. Glad the heat wave was South of you. I had kids in Wi Rapids that had the races called off, 6" of water on the ice.

1/2 mile oval.was 40 degrees when we left in the morning
cooled down to 23 quick. the wind was the bad part
still had a great time.they ran more than 40 races
