Early 60's Karting Magazine

#1
Sold my early kart and parts so I'm going to be selling off the karting portion of my library....

This is an early 60's Karting Edition of Motor Trend magazine. Very interesting in that it highlights some of the more offbeat and forward thinking designs of the time like Duffy Livingstone's front engine kart, dual Mercury powered karts, etc. Also contains some of the largest and most detailed shots of the original go kart created by Art Ingles. Even has a Flexo kart ad I'd never seen before. Lots of great info and cool ads from the day. 20 photo limit in the ad so you'll have to buy it to see and read the rest :

Excellent condition...$15 shipped. Paypal only.

Hi Gerry: You showed a picture of the special kart with a front engine that was owned by Duffy Livingstone. At my first go Kart race I ever saw it was on a small track on the back side of Ascot speedway in Gardena , California there was a very similar kart with a Villiers engine in the front of the driver and it was a wild machine that was in 1959 or 1960 during the summer.
