Early 80s Tecumseh H35-45621S - No Upper Valve Spring Caps

They came with them from the factory. They are not there because someone has been in there monkeying around and never reinstalled them. I would purchase them and install them.

That is what I thought but I looked at the parts diagrams and they are not there

I would check for coil bind after you install the stock spring caps, just in case the springs were swapped and they were too tight with the caps. You never know on these old ones.
I also use partstree.com . They are reliable, well stocked and I like the exploded views and the feature that shows me which other engines use that exact part. That way, I know where to look for a used one if it is NLA.
